Did the youths from the estate want Alfie to kill Ted, or did Alfie shoot Ted because he thought he had to? Because I heard one of them say "finish him off" and I thought they were referring to the Somali youth.
Also, why did Alfie shoot Ted? And were the gang actually scheming to kill Ted from the start, or was it last minute coz Ted intervened?
The gang were out to kill Sami. They didn't know Ted. Alfie was scared and confused and unused to a gun and it accidentally went off killing Ted - he tells the policeman he didn't mean to.

Yes, the copper arrested Alfie on suspicion of murder. We know from the end that the Somali chap lived, therefore Ted died.
