Wow, I don't think I've ever seen so many coincidences on a movie!

So the guy is travelling from China to Malaysia to meet the brother he didn't know he had and he just so happens to be sitting beside the woman whom his former partner has charged his brother with kidnapping! Oh, my head hurts!

"2 days in the valley"??? "crash"? "star wars"?

She was a top biochemist sent to investigate the outbreak in the region. She happened to finish up and return at the same time the protagonist "healed" enough to safely return home. All the other connect-the-dots are story tropes. Ther's no story if one can't connect the dots.

I feel it's too much violence without consequence. I read somewhere China enforces a policy that law enforcement deaths on film are prohibited unless the agents are heroic in death. There was little of heroism, excluding the protagonist, and many deaths in this film.

The sheer number of coincidences and idiot plots made me not care.
The action was good to look at initially but it became real boring as the one dimensional characters blasted faceless goons.
