Robots taking over the world? Uhm....what?

Right, so I read a little about this movie and saw a poster with this Postman Pat-like robot. And I read that the movie revolves around a talent show, and while Pat's away to do that, robots are trying to take over the world. Now, this sounds just a little bit strange. I don't recall ANYTHING close to that happening in the series. But hey, I only saw the original when I was a kid so...I just thought it seemed weird. Maybe Fireman Sam will be fighting aliens if he gets a movie. But I got to admit, I am slightly intrigued by this movie, I guess I will check it out.

They synopsis for this film sounds really strange, from reading it I get the impression this will be one of those 'so bad it's good' movies.

It's a sham really, Postman Pat, Noddy, and Casper were the main shows I watched as a child, and I have really good memories of them all. I've gone back and watched them as an adult for nostalgia purposes, and they hold up extremely well. If they did a movie more true to the series I'm sure it would have been one of the best children's films of the year.

When I heard they were doing a movie I knew I'd watch it but this genuinely sounds terrible.

This film will bomb and I'll be happy. Postman Pat does a talent show, this has Simon cowel written all over it!

They should come up with their own character rather than ruin a classic
