in all fairness

This film was pretty average..
I understand all the hate but I can assure you there are far worse films out there and far more than you would expect...

The production values were surprisingly good, and that's very important! So to give this film such a low score isn't really fair.. Even though I knew exactly what was going to happen and it was far from scary, I still watched it all.
That is the key point in my opinion.. If a film doesn't take multiple sittings to finish it then the pacing was balanced correctly.

Now, the acting was average (for horror films). I have to agree that the lead role(Alex)was the most disappointing. That did really let the whole film down. She looked confused most the time :)

Anyway, I will not go as far as recommending this film but I won't say its not watchable either because its not.
If you have nothing to do and feel like watching a horror film you haven't seen before then why not give this one a shot.
+ there are 2 related scenes that made me laugh:) , so bad acting isn't always a curse if you let yourself find it funny..
