SPoiler alert! (about viktor's dad)

In the scene where he gut-shoots the boss Traffikant, is it a lighter that he hands him ?
And if yes, is it an analogy with the lighter Viktor 's mom finds within the envelope full of cash way earlier in the movie... meaning that he somewhat takes revenge for the fact Traffikant sort of switched his already bad father for an even worst 1 (the mentor that ends up trying to kill him )? (isn't that a cheerful movie :)

Pretty sure the lighter was Franko/Frankies

The lighter Viktor's mother found in the envelope belonged to his father. He dropped it as he was running away from Sergei who followed him and killed him (we presume it was done off camera). When Viktor's mother found the envelope and then saw the lighter she knew her husband was dead.

The lighter Viktor put on the table just before he shoots Traffikant belonged to Franco. We are to presume Viktor killed Franco and the lighter is a sign to Traffikant that his son Franco is dead, just as the lighter left in the envelope Viktor's mother found is a sign to her that Viktor's father/her husband is dead.

He was using the same symbolism Traffikant used to send a message to Viktor's family that he was dead.

Thanks for this thorough answer, as u twice say "presume" & "off camera", you understand why i wasn't sure :]
Great movie which could have been better with a little more length & slightly smarter editing.
