It seems the new movie will introduce a new character named Golden Lion to replace Tiger as Barnaby's partner. He's featured on the poster as well. Eh, I find this a bit disappointing. I'm wondering how much screen time will Kotetsu get in the movie at all.

The movie takes place after the series. Barnaby is promoted back up to the A league of heros, Tiger is showing his age.

I'm glad that the story continues where the series left off, although I've personally wished for a second season rather than the movie. Hopefully it won't turn into a Lion & Bunny movie. Tiger is after all one of the main characters; no, I would say he is the main character. I could even see Barnaby being replaced, but not Kotetsu.

I'm not happy about Barnaby being teamed up with anyone else, but I love the last statement in your posting
t's still called Tiger & Bunny and I'm sure the entire point of putting Barnaby with a different partner is just to show some conflict in their relationship but ultimately reinforce why he and Kotetsu belong together as a team.
