Nautilus ratio 1.08?

I understood the parts on prome numbers, PI, and imaginary numbers but I did not understand the part about 1.08. Did he mean that he measured one Nautilus shell and the ratio of one chamber to another is 1.08, or that EVERY Nautilus shell has this ratio?

I gave up watching it in the first episode but the nautilus shells grow according to the golden ratio which is 1.618. I'm not sure where 1.08 came from. Possibly because there are multiple chambers per turn

Although now I'm searching, it turns out that the nautilus shell apparently is poorly modeled by golden spirals so maybe it's just as well he didn't go there.
