Finally got around to watching it

and it was an average movie. I liked it but yet felt no connection with it, it didn't speak to me to watch it again like the original movie does. This felt like it was missing some heart and soul, definitely worth a one time watch but that's about it. If this would've been done right it could've been a really cool remake.

Shut up, nobody cares what you think.

He's right. I felt the exact same way.

So no sir, you're the one that should STFU.

Millions of people do lol all you have to do is read the comments. Are you a snowflake?

It was a very average movie, maybe not quite as bad as I expected though. In the end you're probably better off just watching some HD or GoPro footage of extreme stuff though, since that's obviously the whole reason this movie exists in the first place.

The lead was the biggest problem in my opinion. He has zero charisma or screen presence, and every time he showed up I lost interest. The original was fun and cheesy. This tried to play it too seriously and it just doesn't work.

That's what I was thinking while watching it just now. It is soulless, heartless. Cared for none of the characters. The action sequences were bog-standard and poorly shot too.

The characters are not likeable at all. They made all of them extreme sports athletes who are dumb as rocks but pretend to be eco warriors who have reached nirvana. Thats certainly up there in the list of most annoying possible personalities.
