... or was that surprisingly good for a first episode?

I had some serious flashbacks to uni days.

No, I thought it was good too. Not often you watch a series that has a real strong first episode. I'm really looking forward to the next one.

I enjoyed the first one too.

It was edgy although I hope it doesn't "settle down" into something like Coupling with the odd charlie reference.

Very enjoyable. Cant wait for the next one. That girl who keeps telling lies and BS reminds me strongly of jay from the inbetweeners.

I thought it was pretty boring, 'Peep Show' on the other hand is brilliant and had an excellent first episode.

Allow me to add one more notch on the naysayer's pole - I'm grinding my way through this lame Peep Show afterthought right now .. yet they cancelled 'Campus' after one series?!

Saw the first episode and sadly I couldn't get into it. I love Jack Whitehall and Joe Thomas as well.

I'm really liking it. It's fairly subdued, but I don't mind that at all. It doesn't have to be a string of sharp gags and a constant barrage of comedy moments. Judging it by Peep Show seems out of order, really. Peep Show had a very unique angle, and this by contrast is, of course, going to be deemed "boring".

There's nothing like this on British TV right now. The only other thing I can think of that centres around Uni students is Hollyoaks, and I'm infinitely more interested in Fresh Meat than I am watching Hollyoaks.
