I can't believe I'm saying this but there's something about the sleazy but cheesy prof that I'm starting to find endearing. He might be a pompous creep but I felt sorry for him having to eat that whole turbot on his own. And what happened to the hot and sticky dessert???
His relationship with Oregon is strectching credibility but I hope they realise he's a good character and don't write him out in series 2.
Ha, I find him pretty gross but I can see why Oregon was attracted to him.
The bit that is unrealistic is that she would totally have dumped him by now as there is no thrill involved. His wife doesn't even mind, and they always went to a grotty Travelodge or whatever. She admitted to Vod she found it all a bit seamy and never defends him when Vod goes on about his old man ball sac etc. For someone who is striving to be cool and wacky, I think Oregon would have completely gone off the whole idea by now.
That dinner party scene with Shales' friends was a total cliche too, luckily Vod was hilarious engouh not to make it really dull.
Well, I get the impression Oregon went off the idea pretty quickly but feels too sorry for him to break up with him, particularly now he's left his wife.

I think she still likes the idea of being a sophisticated elegant woman of the world also and Tony's appreciation of her brains and his "sophisticated" friends appeal to her inner posho!
