Josie... a second year?

OK, I know I've forgotten something here... just started watching s4 after not watching the previous seasons in the near two years it's taken to get this one on the air...

But why is Josie a second year when they all started out together at the start and the rest of them are third years? Again, there's something tickling the back of my brain about how this happened but I can't bring it to light! 😁

And, whatever it was, why did she, in s4 / ep1, act like her University time was coming to an end ('the funs running out!) if she had another year to go?

Josie got kicked out of University whilst performing a dental procedure on another student when under the influence of alcohol. She drilled a hole in the students face.

At the start of season 3 she was in Southampton University (IIRC) but managed to return to Manchester Metlok (SP?) University (Ficitonal University in the show) after Sabine (Dutch housemate in season 2) gave her a reference to resume her studies but on a different course.

"The funs running out!" is a reference to the other 5 housemates leaving her on her own for her final year.

Yes, I believe she's in her second year of the pharmaceutical program, correct?

I dont want it all to end. I want to see a final series with josie and her completion of her third year.

which episode has josie getting a job as a whore and dressing as school girl and nurse ?
