Saw the first episode...should I carry on?

Like I said, I've just finished the first episode on Netflix and I can just see the POSSIBLE plot of 'Kingsley and Josie like each other but they're both scared to make the first move so they'll both just be really angst-y about the whole thing.' pissing me off. I've only seen one episode but I can see it easily heading that route.

They've known each other less than a day, probably, but Kingsley went to bed all broody because she slept with JP, like, it's freshers; people will have sex more often than not, get over it.

So, I have to ask, is this how their story plays out? A whole will they, won't they... dating others to make each other jealous etc etc boring blah blah
