should be seen

I was lucky enough to see this when it played for a week at Filmforum in 2012. This is one of the best romances I've seen onscreen. Possibly the best, in the way that it eschews anything cheap, tracking the practical hurdles of absolute commitment.

(How this is still so obscure in the Netflix era is a mystery.)
