Why Liberals should Not be in Military...

Those vests are not fashion statements... creating emotion when there is no cause for emotion. Had they dropped it as threat occurred - the girl would have never been out there yet. Why not focus on the potential 80 kids blown up by the dudes wearing the vests? Crying pilots? I had to turn it off. Shows the problem of involving politicians / civilians in matters of war.

I'm not a liberal, but your are an insensitive *beep*

When did you turn it off? After you saw the crying pilots? You watched the whole thing dude.

Couldn't agree more. Just because a drone pilot kills doesn't make them an unfeeling murderer - it means they are properly trained SOLDIERS who FOLLOW ORDERS. This representation of soldiers in TEARS doing their jobs is a ridiculous joke, an embarrassment, an INSULT to American servicemen everywhere.

I can see what the directors intention is but it's like they have no grasp at all of what it means to SERVE in the military. At the very least this moronic filmmaker could've watched a Kathryn Bigelow movie to gain some grasp of what military people are actually like. These feeble pilots act like they're lily livered Greenpeace voters pulled in off the street at random.

I don't understand this kind of post. You were aware that this was a movie and not a documentary, yes?
In order for certain themes to be explored liberties are taken.
That said, why would pilots getting emotional about severely injuring or killing a child be unrealistic or insulting? Every soldier is different, and has a different reaction to any given situation.
The idea that their feelings, reactions and emotions could be described as uniform -- irrespective of training -- seems a little naive.
