A non story. Spoilers maybe.

Firstly, it's a cliche. A group of people trapped or stranded somewhere or somewhere and how they cope with their situation. This movie adds nothing to the trope.

Secondly, the story starts in the middle somewhere. We don't know how they ended up in this situation. I couldn't even pin down a time period. Somewhere in the late 40s perhaps. God knows. We have no back story for any of the characters beyond a mere inference that one of them might not be the biological son of another character.

Thirdly, there is no interesting dynamic between the characters during their ordeal. Some squabbling and swearing, a cursory conflict between a religious character and an atheist; a point never explored (that might be a good thing) and even then confused by the atheist's strange superstitions.

Fourthly, the story doesn't actually end. We don't know what happens to these guys.

So we have a movie that doesn't have a storyline. Then it doesn't have characterisation. Then we don't have any interesting interactions. Hell, we don't even get sets or scenery.

This is film making by the reality TV generation. Pointless voyeurism of people doing nothing much at all. I actually felt sorry for the actors, who did a fair job with this crap.
