Emily was wrecked before Ablixa! The horrid Effexor Siebert had her on long before that should've been enough to drive her Way over the edge.
I took that stuff before and it was a long time, and other meds, before I could get over the time-distorting brain freezes::: the brain would just suddenly space you out with, 'Wah/Wah...Wah/Wah' stop-start-stop....talk about side effects!
I believe there was a large-scale class action against the maker of that wretched drug.
What you're not understanding is that your individual reaction to Effexor doesn't mean that's how everyone responds to it. If that were the case, then Effexor never would have made it to prescription drug status.
Case in point: several of my family members recommended Paxil to me as they found it to be effective. Even at half a starting dosage, my body's reaction to it was so bad that I had to stop taking it after a week. Paxil totally wrecked me. It worked great for everyone else. So your experience does not dictate the experience of everyone else.
The main concern here is that the FDA will approve anything for the right price. Take care
