amazing woman

I have been fascinated by Diana Vreeland for decades and was worried this documentary wouldn't catch her spirit, but it was wonderful! I was curious though: Why wasn't Andre Leon Talley in this film? In his biography, he credits her as his main mentor—he worshipped this woman. The director seemed to talk to everyone in her life for the film. I wonder why ALT didn't participate, or was he even approached?

I'm thankful he wasn't in the film. He annoys the crap out of me.

Other than that this was an amzing documentary. It excellently captured her joie de vivre and focused only on her life achievements, her creativity and the joy, beauty, and art she brought to the world.

I'm thankful they didn't discuss her finances, her marriage, or her death - none of which went well.

I left the theater feeling uplifted and full of life and ready to conquer the world.

What an amazing woman.

André Leon Tally declined to be interviewed for the movie and that's the reason he wasn't in it.
