I never review movies on imdb but I had to with this one. I feel those who gave this a high review and more than 3 stars had a part in making this movie. Plotholes and pretty generic. Some cool kills but still nothing special. Also, if he's Billy, why the hell did they recognize him as Bobby? This is NOT a cult classic or an instant gem. I love bad movies for fun but this is not one of them. They truly tried with this one. Its a time killer and thats about it.

For some films that certainly seems to be the case, but not this one. It has an IMDB rating of 5.7, which I doubt the film makers could influence that drastically . Not a fantastic score for a movie but not that low either (especially for the horror genre, where a lot of films get ridiculously low scores). Also the movie is decently well recieved by horror fans from what I've seen.

I found it fine. Pretty well made, the kill scenes were decent, and also an interesting idea to have the origin of the killer revealed in pieces throughout the film as opposed to all at once like a lot of slasher films. In fact the killer's story was the best part.

Is it the best of the genre? No, but it is a solid effort and far better than most slashers that have come out since the mid 90's.
