The deleted scene/alternate ending

In this ending, it is revealed that Sadie and Danny survived the attack with the Jersey Devil. As winter sets, Sadie, Ranger Bob, and several others set into the barrens, armed to the teeth, ready to hunt the Jersey Devil.

Anyone else think this is a slightly better ending? Not that it would have made the film great, but the extra scene would have been an improvement. Maybe it's just because it causes me to consider the possibility of a better movie in my head...

That's the most terryfing scene: thinking that would mean the possibility of a sequel.

That's not really a deleted/alternate ending, but the post-endcredits scene (in the theatrical version, at least)

Also on the DVD I just watched.

Don't mistake hate speech for free speech. Remember, hate speech kills!

But not in the version that's currently on Hulu, unfortunately.

If you get a chance catch the version on the Chiller channel. It contains the ending with the hunting party at the end.

And what fresh Hell is this?, Malory from Archer(Dorothy Parker)

It would have been better if there had been no Jersy Devil at all. That the entire thing was just him under the influence of rabies. That the hallucinations were bought on by the ghost stories and the death of the two hikers. That it was him who killed the other campers whilst deranged. Not some *beep* monster.
