Many of the same actions as my dad

Great memory one day and right after that he acts like a little kid.

I think it is a must to see "Still Alice" and "I'll Be Me" with a few days of each other. Both are powerful, emotional, and thought provoking films. I cried during both films. This is such an important subject for the Baby Boomer generation. Increased funding for RESEARCH is needed!

I know what you're going through, my family is going through this right now with my dad. I got so excited when Glen started singing Gentle On My Mind, I got emotional, and then he forgot the words and I cried. It was also interesting to see behaviors that are similar to my dad's, the paranoia, the accusations that someone is stealing from him, the gibberish, all of it.
This movie didn't make me feel better about Alzheimer's, but it helped me understand more, and perhaps deal with it better. Glen Campbell's music was played often in my home growing up. I'm so glad his family chose to share this, sad as it is.

I'm sorry to hear this. Knowing what you're going through brings back memories for me. One thing that seemed important in the film was pictures and videos. That is a helpful hint to all.

My mother passed away from Alzheimer's complications in 2012; now my 93 year old father is going through it. It's a devastating and cruel disease. As it progresses, oftentimes the Alzheimer's patient becomes angry and turns on those they once loved. I know when I visit my father he doesn't know I am his daughter, but he knows I am someone who loves him, which is some solace.

Bless Glen Campbell's family for having the courage to share this.
