What's up with blurred back shots?

Are they censoring this show now? There were several back shots which were blurred. They are wearing panties for crying out loud, what are they blurring out?

I noticed that too. I think it was something to do with the FCC and them changing the rules. I've also noticed that there weren't as much bum shots as usual.

Is there an unblurred version of the 2011 show anywhere?

It really ticks me off to think that someone is so arrogant as to think undies need to be blurred off of my 10:15 pm TV.

All the links I posted were photographs taken at the show. Yes, they are from the 2011 event. I know last year the show was blurred when in aired on ABC and the CW, so I guess we we never be treated to an unedited version. I would probably pay $10-15 dollars if they had an uncensored blu-ray of the show, but they don't sell copies.

Thanks for the response. It's a weird world we live in, basically selling underwear with pixelation, even in the 10-11 pm time slot. I guess selling a DVD or Blu-ray might seem to run against the "wholesome" nature of the presentation, one is left to wonder how "wholesome" one has to be when selling undies specifically designed to be cute.

Sheesh.

There really should be a version of this later at night, or on a cable channel, or available on blu-ray. Because, you know, I think America, and the rest of the world, can handle it.

WTF that was just wrong. At first I thought it was a stray labium, and was thinking that even that shouldn't matter since we are basically studying anatomy here, but I guess the message is that the infantile American public needs its eyes covered. The aristocrats and witch doctors running things only find tiny boys' asses tasteful anyway. I'll never buy anything from a company that agrees to support political repression and child abuse.
