Got to see Old Fashioned in Lakeland and even took my 8 year old! We both enjoyed the storyline, acting and setting of this film. It was great to be able to show him how 2 people can develop a true relationship!! Rik and his crew did an excellent job and I can't wait to see it again on February 14!!!

Some have commented on Amber not being a Christian when they begin courting. To me, a very important part of the film is Clay bringing Christ into Amber's life for the first time. She attends church for the first time, discusses scripture for the first time with Clay, and ultimately reads the Bible for the first time all because she came into contact with Clay. None of that would've happened if Clay had fenced himself off from Amber because she wasn't a believer. And I think the movie's ending implies that Amber did come to faith in Christ.
Great job by Elizabeth Roberts playing the role of Amber. She is a wonderful actress. I really hope to see her in more faith-based movies in the future.
