when will old fashioned come out I would like to purchase the movie

Initial release is slated for later in 2014 (along with two books related to the film, a novelization and a non-fiction companion book). Release details and other updates will be posted on the official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/OldFashionedMovie

Official theatrical release date is now set for Friday, February 13, 2015. DVD and VOD, etc. to follow.

Will there be a broader release than what is announced for opening weekend? I'm in NJ and only one theater is listed. It's not close and it's still says TBA. Read the book in anticipation.

Can't wait to see it. Gives hope for us good guys who often seem to finish last. (hoping my current relationship breaks that cycle ! :) )

I doubt it. Look at this board. Three days before the release date and the board is pretty much dead. That means no buzz whatsoever. On the 50 Shades board all the threads on the 1st page have replies within the hour. Now that is buzz!

This Christian movie is as lame a Valentine's Day alternative as giving out Bible tracts instead of candy or having hell houses instead of haunted houses for Halloween.
Now I do not expect to see either of these films but if I did I'd more likely see the filthy one. :)

We need more movies like this. Not horrible stuff like 50 shades. And The Bible feeds my soul.

This made my Valentines Day extra special with true love seeing old fashion.It was clean and full of Morales and Values. Fifty Shades of Grey is over rated it endorses porn, sex, abuse it doesn't have any morales or values. It full of Trash! The people that like it enjoy trash

The Movie is amazing funny and heart felt. Excellent for couples.Take tissues just incase. Loved the no cussing at all.Great story! Good clean movie worth every pennie. Wish they made more clean movies.Our theatre was packed full.

I agree. Saw this recently, but it was during the day at a matinee, so there were fewer folks at the theater. Was off that day, and I loved it. Great to see Clay breaking out of his shell to be closer with Amber. This is one of the more tastefully done movies I've seen lately. Though clean, it was realistic enough in its expectations. The length of this story was just right. Any shorter, and the premise would've felt forced on the audience IMHO.

And yes, it was heartfelt. It left a positive mark on me. :)
