What a shame. Every time this movie could take off and fly the writer/director throws a big anchor out in the form of to much dialogue and ruins things. As a big fan of the time travel/sci-fi genre this should have been so much better. How could they not work a meeting with Einstein and possibly some resolution from him into this movie? Fine acting all around. Good to see Haley again. Big Gillian fan. Did not Bruce Willis shoot himself in "Looper" to sacrifice something? Just saying, looked familiar. Thanks for the effort.

The difference in Looper is that the younger version of himself, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, shot himself to make his future self disappear and unable to kill the creepy kid with those insane psi powers. Whereas in this movie, older Erol killed himself to make his father realize the gravity of the situation and go back home to his family right away.
