Good movie
Typical Lifetime movie with the premise and plot, but still a good movie nonetheless. By the way, was this based on a true story? And if so, does anyone know information about the true story?

shareI don't know about it being a true story, but it really reminded me a lot of the 1996 movie "Co-ed Call Girl" with Tori Spelling.
shareHi juicebox07. I was one of the writers on this movie. It was not based on any particular true story but while researching the concept, the producers and I discovered that prostitution taking place in high schools appears to be on the rise in suburban neighborhoods.
shareHello Christine, surprised to see a screenwriter comment on her own film on a site like imdb but whatever to get your name out there huh.
I always find it amusing that if major crime happens in the boonies that is when society as a whole takes notice. If it happens in poor areas no one takes a second glance back.
Teen prostitution is a problem in Oakland, CA and it is mostly centered in the "ghetto" area, the cops have tried to crack down on it but it still continues, only certain members of the community have tried to address it but it still continues.
What I'm trying to say is that I find it upsetting that people are so easily to dismiss a problem if it involves people of color, but if it happens in a rich white community people become up in arms.
All said, I like the film, great fine looking female cast, especially the Cho chick. I found it funny that the school cop was the pimp err "business manager".
"This town needs an enema!"
Hello, Christine! Thanks for enlightening us on that subject! And I enjoyed watching the premiere!

It's replies like his that make it such a rare occurrence - "...anything to get your name out there" sheesh! What a maroon.
We are the coup, you idiot!
The movie is on now. I agree Frisco about how no one makes movies or cares about people of color. The only time they make movies about people of color is to show the drug trade. Never do I see movies about white neighborhoods and drugs running rampart in nice suburban areas. But they will draw the line when little white girls prostitute themselves, like it is shocking Something that has been going on for years. The only place you will hear about black girls prostituting themselves is on the Maury Povich show, where no one is taken seriously. But should. Some 14 year old girl said she slept with some guy for a chesseburger!

A very simplistic response. It is very hard to get anything produced in Hollywood unless it is about a famous person or the problems. I rarely have seen any movie address the big drug problems in white upper class community. there is more drugs running around there then anyplace. You might see some trailer park trash dealing in drugs or Breaking Bad, but he was not rich. They show us shows like Weeds. believe me if that was a black woman no one would of thought the show as being so funny.

Christine, I just clicked on your IMDB link and have to say, you are on the wrong side of the camera. And that is not a put down of your writing.
