Movies like this.....

are why Lifetime should limit itself to showing reruns of "Frasier" - which is what I tuned in to see, actually (and the only reason I ever turn to this channel). Instead, it's this barely run-of-the-mill cliche-fest, chocked full of every possible male stereotype: unattentive, temperamental, cheating dad; violent, psychopathic pimp; apparent nice guy who turns out to be...wait for it...a lying d-bag (wow - didn't see that coming); and, don't even get me started on the older "high roller".

We get it, Lifetime "writers". The channel is aimed at women. All men suck, no exceptions. You've taught the young ladies and girls of America this invaluable lesson, over and over and over. No man is ever to be trusted, or relied upon for anything. Fine.

Can we have our "Frasier" reruns back now? One can find more literate writing and genuine glimpses into human relationships in ten minutes of a typical episode than one could in a hundred movies like "Walking The Halls".

I run this place- ME! I say what goes and what don't go!

LOL - yet you still kept it on the channel to watch the movie, which is how you know all the characteristics about it which you listed above. I'm sure you continue to keep changing it to Lifetime to watch "Frasier", lol.

He's right though. This movie was just horrible because of all the negative stereotypes of men. I am sure he just wanted to watch Frasier just like he said, but probably that beautiful young actress caught his eye. They made her the star because she is the prettiest. Then from there all you see is just one negative stereotype of men after the next. The douchey boyfriend, the douchey second boyfriend, the cheating abusive husband/father, the psycho pimp, the creepy old guy, etc etc. It was pretty awful.

Not that the girls weren't bad stereotypes too. They were pretty bad too. But that's just bad stereotyping of people of both sexes.
