The first trailer editing is disappointing and if people watch that only to decide to buy a ticket for the movie in theaters then it's going to flop.
BUT the clips they attached to the trailer are more than good. Will the studios release it properly with some good marketing?

shareI really dont know how to feel about it. I mean you cant really tell much from a trailer, not to mention you shouldnt judge a movie from a trailer. I dont know what to think about the parkour ninja gang, and the fact that they seem to be going for a Hit Girl vibe. And India, ugh god I dont know this is going to work. We need a script or a rough cut. But so far from what Ive seen, eh.

I definitely want to see this. I love the Kite movies, Mezzo Forte and the Mezzo series. I wish Yasuomi Umetsu was directing this. I bet it would be awesome.

What kind of beast couldn't get along with a precious little girl like this?
i plan on seeing this, but it looks like they're not taking this film too seriously. From what i heard of the anime, i expected a noir 8mm gritty film. this looks like a bad ripoff of kill bill. india's a natural beauty, but dressing her in pink hair and hooker outfits cheapens it for me, that and she's supposed to be stoned throughout the whole movie. this looks like it will be a cult film, but the kind of film you go for kung fu fighting lol

know They're watering down from what i can tell due to the nature of the sex in the anime. The most i can tell about sex is seeing her in bra and panties pretending to be a hooker or whatever. It seems more like a straight up assassin girl. Reminds me of a cross between hit girl and arya from game of thrones

there is a scene where we see india in bra and panties but it looks like that is just to get close to kill this guy. I heard in one of the clips a mention to selling young girls, but that seems the extend of what they're doing. Personally I'd prefer if they delved more into the abuse. It looks like the cop is just her mentor and friend, at worst using her to clean up his dirty work. It's hard to root for a hit girl type assassin who just wants to avenge her parents and is out on drugs. Tell me she is being abused, or that rescuing these abuse victims is more part of the story, and it will give me cause to root for her more.
