Just once in a while

I realize this is standard fee for a horror / slasher /everybody buys the farm film. . . BUT Just once in a while, instead of hapless submissive women victims, couldn't someone act like a real human being and fight back rather than go meekly to that horrible death?

It is like the recent commercial. . . three victims facing a slasher. .

Lets hide in the barn behind the saws. . .
