I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news to as if the show will see a S02?

I suppose they're still writing the pilot for a US version of it.

The ending with Bosse Nova jumping in the water, is more like a hommage to other old action movies and not really meant as an opportunity for a sequel.
Also there are quite a lot of things that wouldn´t work in another episode.
We like Aunt Kosi, Koba and so on, because they are strange, but sooner or later, they will run out of unique things and it will become boring or unbelievable.
I disagree. This is one of those very few norwegian comedy series, that captured some of the more humorous banalities (set in extremes of course) of life, people, language and communication "quirks" in the archetypical hick villages of northern Norway. For once, even "the locals" could get their funny bone tickled properly.
That some character(s) might run out of unique things to say, do or act - is down to good scripting. And good (while quite disturbing at times) scripting, is what this show really had going. And like the show characters, the story line didn't take its own aspects so **** seriously, as way too many shows do today.
