It will not disappoint horror fans

I liked your post because you seem to acknowledge the difference between the traditional 1-10 movie scale and 1-10 horror movie scale. Horror movies are really the only movies where you kind of have to have rate them differently. On a 1/10 horror scale, I'm right there with you. 8/10. No doubt.

That's a nice thought.. but "of similar type" what does that mean? Are we comparing it "Bloody Murder" or to "Zombie Strippers". Not being argumentative, I am just curious as to what exactly this movie would compare to. I'd seen the box but really don't know what genre of horror I should be thinking towards before I see it. I don't think any genre can really be compared to any other one. Which is a failing the IMDb really has. I mean they have an absolute scale.

But how do you rank a film like "Flashback" or "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil" sagainst say "The Godfather part II" or "2001". You can't really cause those films really aren't comparative. So I personally have to negate a lot of the IMDb ratings on that regard.

But a good horror film is a well done film, irregardless of the genre. Some may be more suited to the high minded, like "Carrie" or "Silence of the Lambs". but still deliver what they are intended to.

Agreed with OP, on rating scale for horror film it was really 7/10, i don't know why else this is on such low scale on IMDb
