a disappointment...

I was looking forward to seeing this film, but the acting, directing and writing are so bad it makes it difficult to watch. Such clichéd predictable scenes and dialogue, it's almost like watching something a junior high drama club put together.

I feel bad because this could've been such a better film. They're supposed to be Texan, but only one character has a Texan accent, and the rest seem to be just dialing in their performances. The premise is that God brings hope to a faithless town in the form of Gabriel (an angel, no surprise there), but why should God show favor to the faithless? Faith first, then reward.
