Slasher Fans Will Enjoy! SPOILERS

While the identity of the killer is easy to figure out and some of the performances are amateurish, you can tell that the makers of Bloody Homecoming love old-school slashers. There are knowing nods to movies like Friday The 13th (1980)- a female victim's name is Annie Morgan, in Friday The 13th, the hitchhiker victim was Annie, played by Robbi Morgan; Curtains (1983)- Cassie's lopped off head in the toilet, similar to Lesleh Donaldson's; Prom Night (1980)- creepy janitor Fred is like Mr. Sykes; Happy Birthday To Me (1981)- "Mrs. Patterson" and the way the victims are seated during the finale, etc. Carrie (1976), Scream (1996), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) - fans will find a lot here to compare to.

It's an enjoyable slasher, nothing more, nothing less. Taryn Cervarich (as the homecoming queen) and Branden Lee Roth (as the gay student body president) give the best performances; Lexi Giovagnoli is an okay 'final girl.'

Yeah it was a fun watch. Could've been better, but I loved all the 80s slasher nods :)

These straight to dvd slashers are always fun to watch i thought the ending was odd,but still a fun film i always like these films

Just watched , I liked the throwback style of it and thought some parts were funny , but unintentionally . I enjoyed the movie though , I liked the motive for the killer , a nice modern touch lol . I also liked that I didn't know who was going to live or die in a few cases . I pegged Loren , Steve, and Nora / Cassie as the survivors ... one out of three wasnt bad lol.

Really mediocre, at least in my opinion. I did like the gay guy, and the homecoming queen girl was kinda sweet too.

The final girl, on the other hand, was awful.

I liked it. You shouldn't really have high standards when it comes to slasher movies. Really great movies are few an far inbetween.

I like guns, slasher movies, retro video games, and more guns.

Its nothing great but it was worth the watch.
