Title?

If this is not a remake/reboot, then why the chuff is it being called "Flatliners?" Did they not realise with the 2011 prequel to The Thing, that calling it the same name as the first movie in the franchise, will only confuse the hell out of people? it's dead lazy that Hollywood studios can't even be bothered to come up with a suitable title. If they really are THAT stuck, then simply stick a 2 in front of the title, job done.

"Hasta la vista, baby."

reply

Right. I thought it was a remake at first and was about to protest yet another remake/reboot lazily tossed at us. The lazy titling shows lack of originality, at the very least.

spoiler:

with the "the thing" prequel, it was the only option to name the film without revealing the "twist", that it is actually a prequel.

reply

It's going to tie in to the film "Split".

you mean the new m. night disaster? yeah, that scene at the end was the only good thing about it. i was surprised, but at that point already so annoyed and disappointed, that i could not really appreciate it. :(

reply

Yep. Best part of the movie! I agree!
