But this one took the cake for the worst, laziest, and most unnecessary sequel I've probably ever seen.

I thought it was an improvement. I hated the first one so I went in thinking I was going to hate this one too. I was wrong.

I liked it a lot because I saw it as an inversion of the first movie.
The first movie is about a man who has lost his faith (in god and in people) and his journey that leads him to recover it and then act on it. This movie was about a girl who starts off innocent, faithful and trusting who loses all of that and is totally corrupted by the end who acts on that corruption too. Both movies form a sort of thematic yin-yang.
It isn't necessarily a "scary" film, the horror here isn't about gore or jump scares, it is about the people and how their lives are affected.
I normally don't bash movies but this movie was HORRIBLE.
I really liked the first one. The ending was superb.
This was a complete waste of time. It started off pretty good. Then as soon as Nell got to the orphanage this the train wreck begun. The dialogue was terrible.
One of the worst scripts ever! "Shush you!", "It's too powerful. There's nothing we can do.", "I didn't ask you for a red cent child."
Just horrible.
The special effects at the end were a joke.
I can't believe this movie made 15 million.
