The lines you refer to were intended to be humorous and satirical. There were many more instances if you had bothered to watch a bit longer, but I suppose you being the clever person you imagine yourself to be didn't bother. I wonder how often you watch a movie for five minutes then misinterpret and fail to see the context of what you have watched, switch off and then wax lyrical about what a terrible movie it is. There is nothing clever about that, all you do is make yourself look,no wait, prove that you are stupid. Ghostquake is no masterpiece, however after seeing some of the complete garbage that masquerades as entertainment on the Syfy channel it is a little better than that.
Coming from a film student, im pretty sure i know a tad bit more about film than you do. Satirical or not. Horrible dialogue is still horrible dialogue.
That's like if someone shot someone by accident but their excuse was, "Oh my bad, i meant to shoot the person next to you." Who cares?!? They still shot someone.
The writers and directors needed to do a better job on presenting the film as more satirical if that was their intention. Instead the film came off as cheesy and amateur.
I did not need to watch the film any longer. Five minutes was all i needed to know it was a piece of crap. But if you enjoyed it, thats great for you. Everyone has their own opinion and its pretty ignorant to bash somebody for their opinion. Which is why i am not gonna bash you nor call you stupid cause that's just immature and im not gonna stoop to your level. Have a nice day!
