A raft that small for US navy?
Aside from it's uber small size, it also does not have floor to keep them from soaking in water all the time ??
shareThat type weren't the primary life rafts. They would position this type at various points around the vessel. The idea being that getting out of the water to any degree is better than swimming. FYI, the deck of any open raft is going to end up wet. Also, as stated in the film, large vessels rarely travelled without escorts.
