How disappointing! Neither the trailer nor the IMDB page gives any hint to the American assassin. The excellence of the novel was that by the end of the story, the frame story melds with the recollections of Changez to form a double punch. There is no way the film will be nearly as good without it!

Well Liev is supposed to be the "assasin" drinking tea with changez correct? Its been a long time since i read the book but isn't it supposed to be ambiguous as to if he is or isn't CIA the entire time even right up until the end. Its also ambiuous if changez is a radical or not. The trailer seems to paint more in certainties which i hope ins't true as thats the best part.
Evil must be punished. Even in the face of armageddon I will not compromise in this.
