Great glimpse to understand why we are where we are

This is a great movie which shows how in one man's life he experiences the divide between our two cultures... How we are forced to choose ... How there is no trust... How he is humiliated because of being islamic looking ... How someone who totally bought into the American dream ended up being kicked out of it.
Hate engenders hate.
This movie is just a chronicle of it.

I don't think he was kicked out of the American dream. He chose to leave it behind because that job presented him with a moral crisis.

How we are forced to choose.....what, exactly? Do you mean between material things and simple comforts?

I liked this as a character study, but as a thriller I felt that it was anti-climactic.
