Will Stephen Lang eventually play every major Civil War figure ?

So far, he's been Pickett, Stonewall Jackson, now Lincoln .

I'm surprised he's Lincoln. I think he's a much better Sherman fit

Yes, he will. In my opinion, he's the only actor who should play in any Civil War movie - ever. Originally in Gods and Generals, they wanted him to play every single role in the movie, using CGI and camera tricks. Unfortunately, they decided to give a few other actors employment.

But coming up he's slated to play Lincoln, William T. Sherman, Lee, Jefferson Davis, Mary Todd Lincoln, and round it out by playing Frederick Douglas. That one he'll sing in blackface as a tribute to minstrel shows.

He's just a good versatile actor.

He is indeed! For this production, Mr. Lang will portray John Brown. It's a wonderful fit and he will be terrific as the firebrand.

He is an amazing actor, the only thing he annoyed me in was Avatar but I think that had more to do with the character. He will be a great John Brown, much better than Johnny Cash in North and South. lol
