Ever going to make it to TV?

I mean, really, is this bloated thing ever going to make it on TV? If so, when and with what network?

Wow, I thought they were much farther along than that. I doubt thus sees the light of day before 2015.

Well, once a deal is (hopefully) struck soon, things will move quickly after that. All elements are ready to go, and the actors/actresses remain committed. Everyone involved is extremely passionate about this project and won't let a day go to waste.

Wow, this topic was started two years ago and the show has still not premiered.

Yes ... I am truly wondering if it will ever come to light as well. There seems to be no progress being made, and as people point out, this has been in pre-production for a *long* time. I wish they could get it going, but it just does not look good on that front ...

I sure hope so ... one of the last things I saw (digging around a little), they tried to do a start-up funding campaign, or money-raising campaign, in April and it got nowhere near where they needed. I will check FB again. There, I kept seeing talk that they were working on it, but it was all vague, nothing definite.

Thanks!

I did check it out now, and it does look like some hopeful things posted at the end of December and then the beginning of January. Hope these are all good signs! (other than the recent one about some fraudulent agency falsely posting that they are doing the casting calls)

I saw mentions of it being on HBO whenever it gets made. Apparently the stumbling block is the lack of money. I saw a mention that the projected budget is $32,000,000.

That's a lot when you don't have transformers and super hero toys for tie ins. Also studios like a "franchise" when they invest a lot of money. They think ahead to two or three sequels even if the first movie is only average. I don't think there would be any sequels to this mini series even if it gets off the ground.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

HBO was never actually part of this - that's an early myth perpetuated by a webpage way back. Never HBO.
This is now being done as a miniseries of at least 10 episodes per season. We are finally in the final stages of funding and network, so stay tuned! It's been a long road with many dissapointments, but this is actually par for the course. Good news coming soon.
