A poor excuse for Tom and Jerry

There are really two ways to complain about this cartoon.

One, whoever was responsible for doing the Tom and Jerry animations, as well as the sound effects, knew nothing about the REAL Tom and Jerry. I grew up watching their cartoons for 40 years. And like many other diehard fans, I know their charm very well. it would take a lot of time and effort to re-create the magic that made them great to watch. Clearly, there was no effort involved with this cartoon. Just another attempt to use brand names to make a buck. This wasn't Tom and Jerry. They were imposters!

Second. They picked the wrong voice for Dorothy. She absolutely sucked. She didn't have the right disposition for the part. And the look of the characters were borderline "dark" which seems to be a trend these days. The realism of today's graphics adds a sinister look to cartoons. And the fact that they followed the original 1939 WOZ script was disgraceful. WB has become a bottom feeder that puts the $$ at the top of the list.

I will stick to my complete unedited collection of the REAL Tom and Jerry, as well I will continue to play the ORIGINAL WOZ for my kids.
