I wanted to like this movie. I'm not sure how accurate this film is compared to the real events, but there were a lot of inconsistent moment that didn't connect. Mostly having to do with the scenes involving the abusive boyfriend and the dark haired sister.

Agreed, but Bully puts the stakes pretty high. Alpha Dog is great, but Bully is sort of king.
This movie fabricated the abusive boyfriend and left out the overwhelming instances of the girls just being mad because mom couldnt afford to take them to the mall but always made sure to have enough alcohol in the house.
Very uneven film and struggled between artsy, docu-drama, and any movie about teens in high school.

shareBully is the best of the bunch, way superior movie plus the story was more emotional especially the sentences which were like beyond extreme. These girls have been free women for like 5+ years now.

I LOVE bully! I wasn't impressed with this film. Maybe it seemed kind of kiddish. Bully was raw and real. I also didn't like the acting all to well, and I blame that on the directer. I was intrested in seeing it because I liked a few of the acrors. Bully was memorable, and this one, I had to think for a bit if I had seen it yet....
shareI rated this a 6 and Bully a 7. The sentences in Bulky made me mad too, though, how some got way lighter sentences.
