Differences between original and international version?

Is anyone able to shed any light on the differences between the two cuts of the film??

Is the international / shorter version an entirely different cut or does it just emit some scenes? What's missing??

I have both versions but have only watched the original / longer cut. I'm intreagued as to how different each cut is.

If YOU have both versions, how about YOU press 'play', the tell US the difference.

Wow.... That escalated quickly....

I was simply asking if anyone knew the differences. I'd just sat through a close on 2 and a half hour film and didn't particularly feel like sitting through it again right away.

Regardless, I have found out what the differences are, and they are incredibly substantial... However, I don't think that I will divulge that information to YOU if this is how I get treated when I ask a question.

Whatever happened to a little kindness??

Sorry, my bad. I came back just to apologize. I was an idiot. I must've been having a bad day, no excuse though.

Here's a review from someone who has seen both versions. He liked the shorter international version better and explains why:

Interesting. I wish I had seen the shorter version, maybe I would have liked the film better. It was too convoluted and difficult to connect with.

And all the pieces matter (The Wire)

LOOOONNNNNNNGGGGG
I wish I'd seen the short version too. The characters are very annoying, but I do like quirkiness, but too much of it gets tedious.
