7-8 Submersive movie that illustrates emotions on screen

First off; most of my reviews i write quite soon after watching a movie - this is by those standards an exception.
I also want to point out the many reviews that are not really reviews regarding this movie, a few positive but manily negative. A review is supposed to be informative without spoilers and give clear information on how and why the reviewer like or disliked it.

7-8/10
If you do not let the french mentality and emotional way to communicate through association to feelings take yourself over (no matter if you find it rational or not) you will find this movie extremely slow. I started watching it twice and put it away because of the first 20 minutes, both of the times i were doing other things on the side. The third time i set off to submerge myself (as an extremely rational person it can take alot of effort to let the movie in, but i had started watching it so i would finish watching it), put other things aside and turn it on. It gives you something like a melancholical surrealistic drama, and you get to see it all unfold with emotions represented in the surrealism.

This is indeed a submersive movie (that is why i keep repeating it) that illustrates emotions on screen within the plotline as the characters experience them. This is a tragic lovestory in which the viewer get's completely covered with surrealism. Compared to the budget it's extremely well done regarding special effects which feels worked through and qualitative.
This is like opening a book which you might not fully enjoy but you are still captured by it and want to finish it.

Pro's
Execution
Effects
Acting

Con's
Darkness
With some higher high's the sadness would be concentrated more giving better effect (I don't mean to make it a tragic comedy but make it to increase the overall emotional effect)

So you liked all the underwater shots?

Emotionally submersive language and cinematographical language, so submerse yourself!
I asumed you meant that as a pun, am I right?

[EDIT] If you as an example meant the ones at the wedding (which I did not recall as i wrote this review a month or so after watching the movie, I jumped through it before writing the review though, watching parts of it again) where they emotionally are in love and focused onto each other as other things seems partly drowned out it's as hitting as other analogies, the movie is full of them so choosing specific ones that you like moreso than others is nothing i should do in specific terms this far after. Though, I can say that the reference between emotional moods and order/disorder in life was appriciated as most viewers will easily recognise it and as it emphasizes the emotional side of the movie by easing connotations from the viewer to the leads.
