Original after credits scene.

When I saw this in theatres at one of those Neilson preview things, the original after credits scene was basically the same, but didn't end with the abrupt shock.

The original was: the killers were approaching the lady and as soon as she turned to enter her house the cops raided the killers and it turns out that it all was a sting operation. Then you see Justine drive off in the killers car from the beginning.

For me, it seems that was a better ending. This quick cut comes off as more of a, leave room for potential sequel type.

So we basically just got a cut ending then. Interesting though it's not really a surprise since she pretty much says she's going to hunt the other cult members down. Was she wearing the hoodie she wore when she killed Violet by any chance?

Also, just watched the trailer for this thing and as I suspected there are probably a few deleted scenes from this as .12 seconds in you can see clips of the cult killing the gate guy. You also see more clips from the montage of when Justine was messing around on campus prior to being attacked by the cult.

Yeah, the ending you mention sounds way better.
