Like this guy Aaron, Justine's boyfriend, was the most pointless character in the movie. He goes away, leaves Justine at the campus, finds out she's alone, then comes back to immediately get axed out the film. I thought they would've kept him in there for awhile or have him add to the story in some way. How ridiculous.
shareI hated that scene when he came back. His girlfriend's yelling to come with her, we have to leave and he's all 'Wait, which is my girl? The one yelling whose face I can see? Or the one wearing my girl's hat? Back and forth, back and forth. You knew he was not long for this world. There were a bunch of scenes like that. Not a fan of this movie.

I knew he was going to die as soon as he came back but I kinda thought he'd live longer and die later in the chase instead of immediately getting offed.

Well his death did make her mad enough to start killing them. Before his death, she was just trying to escape.
