My alltime favorite interpretation of Batman.

The WB animated Batman is cool, collective, and extremely smart. He has his emotional issues, but they don't often get the better of him (just the thing with his parents here). He is more thoughtful and more careful than the other league members.

I really hate the Frank Miller Batman. I also believe that the paedophilic subtext of the old comic books is true. I hate Joel Schumacher's take on the character, and the old TV show is too horrible to watch.

Christopher Nolan and Tim Burton did a decent job, but they had to totally reimagine Batman's origins because the original backstory is terrible.

Mr. Conroy and the writers of this series deserve a lot of credit for their successful concept of this character.

How is the original story? His parents were always killed by some guy in every comic book version I read and movie version I saw.
