Good Film

I'm surprised there isn't more buzz about this movie. I just saw it tonight and thought it was good.

Unfortunately most people just have no idea what good film is.

Meh, it was alright. Acting was good, cinematography was as well. But the rest, mainly the writing & pacing, were pretty standard. We didn't get nearly enough of the thinking process behind everything, we need to get more into their heads. It was more of a hollywood retelling of the events of WHAT happened than an insight into WHY they happened...

I believe this is an indie film---if it was a Hollywood film it would have definitely gotten more promotion to begin with.

Yes, that's true. I was more referring to the actual end product. It might have been filmed as an indie, but it came out more like a hollywood retelling. Like I said, because we don't really get into the heads of these characters as much as we should have. Hopefully that makes sense now!

A hollywood retelling would be more: "THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD THINK". This was more an interpret for yourself kind of film.

It was taken out of the theatre so fast. I didn't get a chance to see it.

Yep, it was a very good movie. Not an excellent one, but very good. The acting, cinematography, and overall mood were great!

But I kinda have to agree with TheBeardedWonder on his comment "We didn't get nearly enough of the thinking process behind everything, we need to get more into their heads" .. it would have been interesting to know more about their 'philosophy' behind the shootings.
