my god that was a piece of *beep*

The only thing worse than a really horrible movie is a really horrible movie that thinks it has something profound and insightful when it's really the most brain dead of trash. This movie was as and in that department as possible.

I agree with you this piece of crap is on as we speak on Showtime Beyond and your right it sucks...None of these folks can act,and the story is just lame...

Haha, good old Showtime Beyond. I enjoy the channel and the genre but boy, if they don't put some really questionable movies on that specific channel. Sometimes even skin flicks! Not a big deal though as I have seen some real gem horror, sci-fi, out-there type of movies though so it is not a total wash.

But as to this film, yea, pretty darn bad. Internet troll "cult" killers... yikes. And the stupid "for the lulz" thing. Boy. At least there were some good looking girls in this film, but not even any nudity iirc. I've seen better indie shorts on Youtube honestly. I can't believe this is making the rounds on a major cable network. Guess the rights are dirt cheap!

I just finished watching it. The whole time I was thinking, "This is stupid. This is stupid. Oh look...ANOTHER jump scare. Stupid. More stupid. Holy crap, this is stupid." Then the ending came, and I about choked on my own tongue, it was profoundly stupid.

Apparently, it was conceived by someone who once saw a buzzfeed article about 4chan. A pathetic misunderstanding of human nature and /b/.

This movie, quite obviously, is far from thinking so highly of itself. It was pretty clear that Smiley was a parody of the slasher genre - Scream, Urban Legend, etc.
How could a chichè, amateurish, intentionally inane parody horror think to be profound or insightful?

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾
