Did this get a theatrical release, or was it straight to video?

I ask because...WHAT A HORRIBLE MOVIE! The writing was bad, most of the acting (specifically the lead) was terrible. I have to wonder how desperate Roger Bart and Keith David were for money to participate in this horrid film.
